Extended Warranty

Terms and Conditions
BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY
  1. Coverage Period
    The extended warranty begins immediately after the expiration of the original 1-year manufacturer's warranty. It is available for 1, 2, or 3 year periods.
  2. Scope of Coverage
    This extended warranty covers mechanical and electrical failures due to normal use of your Laurastar product (ironing system, clothes steamer, handheld steamer). It includes:
    • Parts and labor for covered repairs
    • Priority repair service
    • Replacement of wear-and-tear parts as deemed necessary
    • Cleaning and polishing of an iron
  3. Exclusions
    This warranty does not cover:
    • Damage resulting from accidents, misuse, or abuse
    • Cosmetic damage that doesn't affect product functionality
    • Normal wear and tear items (e.g., ironing board cover, soft pressing iron shoe, filter cartridges)
    • Damage from improper maintenance or failure to follow user instructions
  4. Claims Process
    To make a claim:
    • Contact our service center at 416-841-4087 or [email protected]
    • Provide proof of purchase and warranty certificate
    • Our technician will inspect the product and determine the appropriate action
    • Repairs will typically be completed within 10 business days
  5. Transferability
    This extended warranty is not transferable to a new owner if the Laurastar product is sold.
  6. Cancellation and Refunds
            You may cancel this warranty within 5 days of purchase for a full refund
  1. Limitations
    • There is no limit on the number of claims during the warranty period
    • The total value of repairs is limited to the original purchase price of the product
    • No deductible applies to claims
  2. Customer Obligations
    • Follow all maintenance requirements as outlined in the product manual
    • Use the product according to the manufacturer's instructions
  3. Legal Compliance
    This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary by province. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under applicable laws.
  4. Dispute Resolution
    Any disputes arising from this warranty will be resolved through arbitration in accordance with the laws of Ontario.
