The detachable water tank, with its 40-ounce capacity, allows you to refill your Laurastar ironing system at any time without turning it off. It is also designed to accommodate an anti-scale filter (sold separately), which helps filter tap water before use.
How to Use the Laurastar Water Tank
Using the Laurastar water tank correctly ensures optimal performance and longevity of your ironing system. Start by removing the reservoir from the ironing system by gently lifting it from its compartment. Fill it with fresh tap water for better protection against limescale buildup. If you are using an anti-scale filter, attach it securely before filling the tank to ensure proper filtration. Once filled, place the reservoir back into its slot, making sure it is properly positioned to prevent leaks. The Laurastar system will automatically draw water as needed, allowing continuous steam production without interruptions. After each ironing session, it’s a good practice to empty any remaining water from the tank to prevent mineral buildup. Regularly clean the tank by rinsing it with clean water and checking the anti-scale filter if used. Following these steps will help maintain your Laurastar system in top condition for years to come.
